Judy Ferro, Chair

A Caldwell native, Judy became active as a Democrat in 1998 and served as District 10 captain for several years.  Retired as a teacher and librarian, she reviews progressive non-fiction for The Portland Alliance, a monthly newspaper.

Jay Sears, Secretary

Jay joined the Canyon County Democrats after the 2006 Fair and immediately became a committed planner and mover for the party.  He is a major figure in Citizens4Sanchez.
 
 

Mary Peck, Treasurer

A pillar of the Canyon County Democrats for nearly four decades, Mary writes the checks for the County Central Committee.  She keeps candidates and their treasurers up-to-date on the rules and laws of campaign finance. She is a past county chair.

 

Les Peck, State Committeeman

Retired as a butcher, Les is an advocate for unions.  He founded the county Democrats' most successful fundraiser, now known as the Peck Patriotic Picnic.  As State Committeeman, he works in the areas where the need is greatest and represents the county on the Central Committee of the Idaho State Democrats.  He is a past county chair.

Kris Troxel, Member

As a member of the Executive Committee of the Idaho State Democrats, Kris helps in setting the policy, goals, and budget for the state organization.  She is also on the state technology committee and serves Canyon County as a liaison with the state organization and an advisor on technology.  A Hewlett Packard employee, she lives in Nampa's District 13.

District Chairs

District 10   Dale Kenyon

Active with the Canyon County Democrats since his retirement as Wilder postmaster, Dale is a past County Chair.  He has been a candidate for Wilder mayor and District 10 representative.  District 10, with 16 precincts in Caldwell and Wilder, recently added two of the County's youngest precinct captains.  Some precincts need captains.

 

District 11  Chuck Evans 

Chuck and his wife Karen produce goat cheese at their farm in Parma and speak out on agricultural issues affecting Idaho. Chuck is a past County Chair.  The nine Canyon County precincts of District 11  stretch from Middleton to Notus and Parma.   Most precincts need captains.

 

District 12  Delmar Stone 

Delmar Stone recently accepted a position as national chair of Social Workers.  This District includes 11 Nampa precincts.  Some precincts need captains.

 

District 13  Kris Troxell

Kris Troxell works for one of the area's high tech firms and heads the state party's technology committee.  This district ranges from south Nampa to Melba and includes 17 precincts.  Several precincts need captains.
