native Bryon Yankey has served as a
teacher and principal in
Idaho.
In 2004 Byron was National Distinguished
Principal for the state of
Idaho.
He is currently president elect of the Idaho
Association of School
Administrators.

ideas and focused on improving transportation,
eliminating all sales tax on food and investing
in
Idaho's
young people."
Bio
Byron was born and raised in Weiser,
Idaho,
and graduated from
Weiser
High
School in
1971.
He earned both a B.S. in Elementary
Education and a M.S. in Education
Administration from the
University
of
Idaho.
He and his wife Lynne have resided in
Canyon
County
since 1981. They have three
sons.
