Caucus attendees must sign a pledge plan to be qualified Canyon County voters in the Nov. 4 elections. Delegate selection will be done within sub-caucuses representing the various presidential candidates or uncommitted. (Doors will open at 6 pm; events will start at 6:30. Mar 2, 2007 Canyon County Democrats Social Event Hey, this event was so much fun that we are delaying taking the notice down! Ninety people attended, Larry Grant gave a rousing speech about getting more candidates, and mariachi singer Omar Arreola left some swooning. A "penny" vote ended with Obama in first place, Clinton (Hillary) and Gore tied for second, with Edwards and Richarson having respectable support. We'll do this again next year! more...
